Process Builder Error 'Given sobject does not match type for alert: Account' occurs when Email Alert is added to Process

Process written based on Account object with email alert associated to Account object fails to execute if the record that triggered the process is Person Account, with the error "Given sobject does not match type for alert: Account".

 
Løsning

The person Account object is a combination of an Account and a Contact object.
The process builder executes as expected for the Person Account, but for certain features like an Email alert, it references the Contact portion of this special object. That is to say that the error message is correct in that the sobject types do not match because the email alert is for Account and the sobject referenced is Contact.

Workaround:  Workflow Email alert on Person account
