Calculate Win Rate on Closed Opportunities in a Report

If your organization wants to provide incentives based on higher win percentages to your Sales representatives, here's how to build a Custom Report:

 

Lösning

1. Create a new report and select the Opportunities Report Type.
2. In the Report Builder, select the following Fields:
 
  • Opportunity owner
  • Amount
  • Won
  • Closed
  • Opportunity name
  • Stage

3. Summarize the report by Opportunity Owner.
4. Create 2 Custom Summary Formulas on this report. 
 
A. Column name: Win Rate %
a. Format: Percent             
b. Where will this formula be displayed?: All summary levels
c. Formula: WON:SUM / CLOSED:SUM
 
B. Column name: Loss Rate %
a. Format: Percent             
b. Where will this formula be displayed?: All summary levels
c. Formula: (CLOSED:SUM - WON:SUM) / CLOSED:SUM

5. Click Save.



Note: Formula that does not refer to the Stage Name but on the Type of the Picklist Value.

Note: This report calculates the win rate based only on opportunities that have been closed (either won or lost). To calculate a win rate based on all created opportunities, including those still open, please see the alternative formula below.


(Alternative) Column name: Win Rate % of All Created Opps

  • Format: Percent

  • Where will this formula be displayed?: All summary levels

  • Formula: WON:SUM / RowCount
