Prevent Automatic Chatter posts for Quick Actions

By default, Quick Actions, like 'Create a Record' or 'Log a Call,' automatically generate posts to your organization's Chatter feed when they've been executed.

Please use the steps below if you would like to disable this feature in your organization.

Disable automatic Chatter posts for Quick Actions

 

1. Click Setup and enter Global into the Quick Find box.
2. Select Global Actions.
3. From the 'Actions' list, click Edit next to the action for which you'd like to prevent automatic posts to Chatter feeds.
4. Deselect the Create feed item checkbox.
5. Click Save.
