Publiceringsdatum: May 31, 2026
Beskrivning

When you attempt to access the Salesforce Help Portal or log in with your Trailblazer account, you may encounter one of the following behaviors:

  • An error message displaying OAUTH_APP_BLOCKED
  • A redirect to the URL: `<REDACTED>

This error occurs when a Salesforce system administrator has blocked the Salesforce Help or Trailblazer.me Connected Apps in your Salesforce organization. The Connected App block prevents users from authenticating and accessing Help Portal resources.

Lösning

Step 1 — Unblock the Salesforce Help and Trailblazer Connected Apps
A Salesforce administrator can resolve this error by unblocking the required Connected Apps using the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Setup and type Connected Apps into the Quick Find box.
  2. Click Connected Apps OAuth Usage.
  3. Locate the entries for Salesforce Help and Trailblazer Connected Apps.
  4. If the Action button for either app shows Unblock, the app is currently blocked.
  5. Click Unblock for each app to allow end users to access the Help Portal.

Step 2 — Workaround if the Apps Do Not Show as Blocked
In rare cases, the Salesforce Help or Trailblazer Connected Apps may not display as blocked in the interface, even though users are still receiving the OAUTH_APP_BLOCKED error. Use the following workaround:

  1. If the Salesforce Help Connected App is installed in your organization, uninstall it to revoke all existing tokens.
  2. Locate the Salesforce Help Connected App as described in Step 1 above.
  3. If the app does not show as blocked, click the Block button. Wait up to 15 minutes for the status to update to blocked.
  4. Once the app shows as blocked, follow the unblocking steps in Step 1 above to restore access.
