Secondary Fields are Displayed for Instant Results on Search for Recently Viewed Records

In Winter '20, recently viewed items in Instant Results for both global and lookup search now display a secondary field. The behavior of Instant Results with recently viewed records is similar to records that haven't been recently viewed; however, the field types supported as the secondary field for recently viewed records currently differs from other suggested results.
Lösung

The following field types are not currently supported as the secondary field in Instant Results for recently viewed records:
 
  • Formula
  • Date
  • Lookup
  • HTML link (URL and email)
  • Image
  • Picklist
  • Long Text
  • Record Type
  • Address
  • Auto-number
 
As a workaround for Address, you may create a custom text field to contain the details of the Billing City and then use that field as a secondary field.

With records that aren't recently viewed,  'Date' and 'Record Type' fields may be displayed as the secondary field.

As an example, if Creation Date is set as the secondary field on Account in the Search Results layout, then this will be displayed as the secondary field for suggested records in Instant Results. If these are recently viewed records, then Creation Date will not be displayed, and the next supported field in the Search Results layout on Account will be displayed instead

Notes: 
  1. Formula and lookup fields are not supported as secondary fields.
  2. With Contact and Opportunity entities, the Account Name will be set as the secondary field and it is not configurable.

With future releases the supported field types may change.
