Import records from Campaign Influence 1.0 into Customizable Campaign Influence

게시 일자: Aug 19, 2026
상세 설명

To make your Campaign Influence 1.0 records available in the updated Customizable Campaign Influence 2.0, you’ll use Apex Data Loader to export and delete records, and then add them back into the updated version.

솔루션

We recommend first testing in a Sandbox, if possible, to become familiar with the process. Follow each of these steps to make sure that everything is removed and added back correctly. If you skip a step, records won't appear where you expect them.

Step 1: Create a Marker Field

  1. Confirm Customizable Campaign Influence is enabled.
  2. Optional: To use the same Audit Field values as your 1.0 records, create and assign a permission set with the Set Audit Fields Upon Creation permission.
  3. Create a new custom field with the following attributes:
    • Object: Campaign Influence
    • Data Type: Checkbox
    • Label: Is 2.0
    • Default Value = True
  4. Verify that existing Customizable Campaign Influence records now include the `Is 2.0` value as `True`.

Step 2: Export and Delete Legacy Records

  1. Use Apex Data Loader to export Campaign Influence records where the field `Is 2.0` equals `False`, and save the export file.
  2. Run a delete job with Apex Data Loader using the export file you just saved.

Step 3: Re-Import as Customizable Campaign Influence

  1. Confirm Customizable Campaign Influence is still enabled.
  2. Open the export file from earlier and make these edits:
    • Delete the ID column.
    • Change `Is 2.0` to `True` for all records.
  3. Import the records.
  4. Verify that everything looks as expected.

Step 4: Clean Up

After you're sure that everything is working correctly, you may choose to delete the Is 2.0 field since it's no longer needed.
