Marketing Cloud Behavioral Triggers - How to resolve any issues with the trigger Data Extensions

If the Behavioral Trigger Data Extension has been deleted or renamed and abandon events are not being written to these data extensions, follow these steps to return the configuration to the original state.
解決策

First you need to identify what the original data extension and external key for the trigger in question. You can locate this value by going to Journey Builder > Behavioral Trigger and get the value of Data Extension column for the trigger in question - similar to 'abandoned_cart_XXXXXXXXX'

Then go to Audience Builder > Contact Builder > Data Extension and locate the original DE if renamed, if deleted, create a new data extension. Use the value from above as the Name & External Key of the data extension. Ensure these fields are present and the data type & names are exactly the same as mentioned below.

Please note that If there is are any custom fields, ensure Nullable = Yes

Retention Settings:
Delete : Individual Records
Retention Period:
After 30 days

You must use email studio to leave the length blank. 

Note: When a Behavioral Trigger is activated, a corresponding data extension is automatically created. In some rare cases, you may see the trigger marked as active in Journey Builder > Behavioral Triggers, yet the associated data extension is not visible in the account. Although this situation occurs infrequently, the steps outlined above can be used to resolve the issue.

 

Below are the sample names of the Behavioral trigger data extensions, where XXXXXXXXX is a random number generated by the system 

abandoned_cart_XXXXXXXXX  

abandoned_browse_XXXXXXXXX 

abandoned_wishlist_XXXXXXXXX
