After installing and configuring Salesforce Maps, users might see options to create a marker layer or a folder greyed out. As a result, the user can’t create any new marker layers or folders inside the corporate folder. This is because the logged in user does not have required permissions in the SF Maps application to create marker layers or folders within the corporate folder.
Note - If you already have a custom Permission Group created for the profile, you can edit that Permission Group instead and check “Folder Administrator“ and save.
