Description
Each journey version in Journey Builder has a status. The following describes what each status means for multi-step journeys.
You can check the status from the Journey Dashboard, the Version Dashboard, or the scenario detail screen of each journey.

Résolution
Draft
The journey has not yet been activated. The scenario can be modified.
Contacts do not enter this version.
Note: Email content can be modified even after activation.

 

Running (Active)
Contacts can enter the journey. Contacts who have entered the journey proceed through the scenario.
Email content can be modified.
 
Paused
Contacts who have already entered the journey do not proceed to the next activity until the journey is resumed.
The behavior for new contacts attempting to enter a paused journey, and the behavior of wait activities for contacts already in the journey, vary depending on the journey configuration and the pause settings.

Finishing
When a newer version is activated, the currently running version transitions to Finishing status.
New contacts cannot enter the journey.
Contacts who have already entered continue to proceed through the scenario.
Email content can be modified.
 
Stopped
Contacts who have already entered the journey are immediately removed from the scenario.
New contacts cannot enter the journey.
