Verify Your Default No-Reply Address for Email Notifications

Description

How No-Reply Address Verification Works in Salesforce

Organization-Wide Addresses (OWA) in Salesforce allow administrators to set a consistent, verified email address that is used as the From or No-Reply address for all outbound automated email notifications sent from the org — such as workflow alerts, approval notifications, and case emails.
Your org can have an unlimited number of unverified email addresses on file, but only one can be verified at a time. Verifying a new email address replaces and deletes the previously verified one, and this is the only way to remove a verified email address. This ensures that after setting up your first verified email address, your org always has a valid verified email on file.
Note: Organization-Wide Addresses (OWA) are different from individual user email addresses. OWA settings apply org-wide and control the default sender identity for automated Salesforce emails.

Résolution

To set up and verify the default No-Reply email address for your Salesforce org, navigate to Setup and complete the following steps:

  1. Select Setup (Gear icon).
  2. In the Quick Find Box, enter Organization-Wide Addresses and select it.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Fill out the information on the Edit Organization-Wide Email Addresses page and select Save.
  5. Follow the steps sent to your email inbox to verify your organization's default No-Reply address.

Note: Only one email address can be verified at a time. Verifying a new address will replace and permanently delete the previously verified address. Plan accordingly before initiating a new verification if you currently have an active verified No-Reply address.
