1. Click the Setup icon (gear) at the top right, then Click 'Setup'
2. Type and click Permission Sets into the 'quick find' box on the left
3. Click 'Dialer for Essentials Outbound Calling'
4. Click 'Manage Assignments', then Click 'Add Assignments'
5. Highlight the Users who need access to outbound dialing and click 'Assign'
6. Repeat this process for the 'Dialer for Essentials Inbound Calling' permission set if you are also using the dialer for Inbound Calls
A System Administrator can then add the Lightning Dialer for Essentials to the Sales Console Utility Bar by doing the following:
1. Click the Setup icon (gear) at the top right, then click 'Setup'
2. Type and click App Manager into the 'quick find' box on the left
3. Click the dropdown arrow to the right of Sales - LightningSales, then click Edit
4. Click 'Utility Items' on the left
5. Click 'Add Utility Item' and select 'Dialer'
6. Save your changes
To verify your changes, navigate back to the Home page and refresh. You should find 'Phone' at the bottom of the page in the Utility Bar.
