Clone Identity User Profile
1. Go to Salesforce Setup > Profiles
2. Choose the Identity User profile to clone from the drop-down menu (this already has the Identity User License)
3. Enter the name of the Profile (For example: "Identity Admin User" or "Identity Sales User".
4. Save.
5. Assign this profile to any necessary users.
Add user into Manage User in Salesforce
1.Go to Salesforce Setup > Account Engagement Account Setup.
2. Next to the Business Unit, click on the 'Manage users' button.
3. Click on Edit User Assignment.
4. Add users into the Marketing or Sales user section as needed (Note: Admin users should go in the Marketing section. If profile-role mapping needs to be considered, these should be placed in the Marketing section as well. 5. Save.
Map the Salesforce Profile and Account Engagement Role in User Sync configuration
1.Open the Connectors page.
>> In Account Engagement classic, select Admin and then Connectors.
>> In the Account Engagement Lightning App, select Account Engagement Settings, and then Connectors.
2. Click the gear icon next to the Salesforce connector, and then select Edit.
3. In the Account Engagement Lightning app, click the User Sync tab. In Account Engagement, go to Salesforce User Sync.
4. The newly created profile should show here, and the dropdown can be used to map to the appropriate role.
5. When finished, save the connector.
Note: By default, custom profiles are assigned to an Account Engagement Marketing role. To change this, click the checkbox to the left of the profile you want to change, then pick the desired role from the dropdown.
