Permission set licenses and permission sets requirements for Salesforce Maps Advanced users

The below steps outline the process of assigning permissions for Maps Advanced users. 

Note: To prevent any errors, make sure to assign the Permission Set Licenses before assigning the Permission Sets. 

Permission Set Licenses - Administrator (Sales Managers, Operations, Admins)

1. From Setup, enter "Users" in the Quick Find box, then select "Users".
2. Locate and select a User record.
3. Under the "Permission Set License Assignments" section, select "Edit Assignments".
4. Check the "Enabled" checkbox next to "Salesforce Maps Advanced".
5. Click Save.

Permission Sets - Administrator (Sales Managers, Operations, Admins)

1. From Setup, enter "Users" in the Quick Find box, then select "Users".
2. Locate and select a User record.
3. Under the "Permission Set Assignments" section, select "Edit Assignments".
4. From the "Available Permission Sets" list, select "Maps Admin" and "SF Maps Advanced" and click the right arrow to add to the "Enabled Permission Sets" list.
5. Click Save.

Permission Set Licenses - End-User (Reps, Merchandisers, Field Users)

1. From Setup, enter "Users" in the Quick Find box, then select "Users".
2. Locate and select a User record.
3. Under the "Permission Set License Assignments" section, select "Edit Assignments".
4. Check the "Enabled" checkbox next to "Salesforce Maps Advanced".
5. Click Save.

Permission Sets - End-User (Reps, Merchandisers, Field Users)

1. From Setup, enter "Users" in the Quick Find box, then select "Users".
2. Locate and select a User record.
3. Under the "Permission Set Assignments" section, select "Edit Assignments".
4. From the "Available Permission Sets" list, select "SF Maps Advanced" and click the right arrow to add to the "Enabled Permission Sets" list.
5. Click Save.
