Follow Salesforce Knowledge Articles

公開日: Aug 29, 2025
説明

When Feed Tracking is enabled for objects, users can Follow Records to track changes made to them in the "What I Follow" Feed Sort and Filter Options available on the Chatter Tab.

However, when following Knowledge Articles users do not see changes to publication status or other article updates in their "What I Follow" view.

解決策

This is a known limitation of following knowledge articles and currently users do not see updates such as when a new version of the article is published in their "What I Follow" feed. However, activity such as Chatter posts created by users in an article's feed will be shown for user's followed articles in their What I Follow view.

Users will need to directly review the Knowledge Article's Chatter Feed or Salesforce Knowledge Article Versions history to review changes made to the record.

Administrators and internal users with 'Read' access to Knowledge can follow articles in any publication status such as published or draft. Following an article is intended to allow users to save articles that they want to read later and changes to publication status or other tracked changes such as Field History Tracking will not be visible in user's What I Follow view.

Standard functionality does not offer Chatter notifications for record changes. Chatter email notifications are limited to what users can configure as outlined in the Guidelines for Managing Your Personal Chatter Email Settings documentation.

Note: Knowledge articles aren’t fully supported in Chatter Streams. See Create a Stream from the Streams Home Page for more details.
