When you query the _smsmessagetracking dataview, you may find not all the fields have values in them. Let's see when the NULL values are present:

KeywordID: GUID format of the keyword used in the sms.

ConversationID: It populates when a conversation is created with a MO user using the CreateSMSConversation AMPscript function.

CampaignID: Populates when SMS is sent to a DE as Audience or when the Send type is "Send to DE".

Unsub, OptIn, OptOut: Always has NULL values. These values can be pulled out using _SMSSubscriptionLog data view

IsValid: Populates 1 for inbound messages and 0 for Outbound messages

InvalidationCode: By default remains NULL

SendID, SendJobID: Populated for SMS messages sent via Automation Studio's 'Send SMS' activity or when an SMS is sent to  DE as Audience.

SendSplitID, SendSegmentID, SendGroupID, SendPersonID: Populates when SMS is sent to a DE from Mobile connect (does not work from Journey builder)

Name: This field has been recently introduced to this data view and this field usually contains the SMS name but if the send is done from JB then Name field matches "ActivityName" field in the _JourneyActivity Data view, the below query would help to fetch the details. The Name field can be null if the end user tries to send an invalid Inbound text like a Keyword that is not recognized by the system and then it will also create a row where Outbound=1 with this data in the MessageText field "The keyword you specified was not recognized."
SELECT MobileMessageTrackingID, Mobile, MessageID, CodeID, ConversationID, CreateDateTime, ModifiedDateTime, ActionDateTime, MessageText, SendID, Name
FROM _smsmessagetracking s
JOIN _JourneyActivity ja
ON s.Name = ja.activityname
JOIN [_Journey] j
on ja.VersionID = j.VersionID
WHERE j.JourneyName = 'INSERT_JOURNEY_NAME'
and j.VersionNumber = 'INSERT_JOURNEY_VERSION'
