October, 17, 2022. To mitigate future security vulnerabilities and to ensure our customers’ data remained secure, Salesforce retired the Pardot Classic app that was available in Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experiences.
No, although we encourage all customers to migrate to the Account Engagement Lightning app. The standalone Account Engagement app (available at pi.pardot.com) remains available to all customers.
No. Users can still access Account Engagement’s classic UI experience at pi.pardot.com.
No. The same classic user interface with the same features and functionality is available at pi.pardot.com. If you want the users to still be able to access Account Engagement within their Salesforce instance, enable the Account Engagement Lightning app. The Lightning app provides an upgraded user interface and features and functionality that aren't available in either the Pardot Classic app or pi.pardot.com experiences.

Yes. To accommodate users who don't require full access to Salesforce, with the Winter ’23 release, you can assign them the Account Engagement permission set license and Account Engagement User permission set. This permission set grants users access to most of the marketing tools available in the Account Engagement Lightning App. It doesn't include full access to campaigns in Salesforce. Learn more.
