Data 360: Control event notifications using flows

Data pubblicazione: Nov 17, 2025
Descrizione

Currently Salesforce Data 360 supports several object types with control events notifications, where the end user no longer needs to view the object records in Lightning Experience in order to review the latest updates.  A process flow can be setup on top of Salesforce Data 360 configurations. This also provides an accurate visibility on the use of Data 360 in reports and dashboards.

Some examples of the objects currently supported:

  • Data Stream
  • Segment
  • Activation
  • Identity Resolution
  • Calculated Insights
Risoluzione

Using the supported object types, create flows in Flow Builder to monitor your data for results or changes.

Learn more about creating flows here.

The below is an example for setting up a flow that monitors a Customer Data 360 Data Stream:

1) Navigate to Setup
2) In the quick search box, search and click on Flows under Process Automation
3) Choose New Flow at the top right
4) Choose Record-Triggered Flow and click next to select a free form flow
5) Search and choose your desired object, such as Data Stream
6) Complete the flow conditions as desired (i.e. ImportRunStatus isChanged equals TRUE)
7) Create a decision to monitor the object (i.e. failed status or an update to the number of rows processed)
8) Create an action (i.e. send an email when the status is updated to error)
9) Save and activate your flow
