Data 360: Accessing & Setting up an Org for the first time

Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) can be added to any existing Salesforce org or can be provisioned alongside a new org. Review the below for information on how to access and setup Data 360 for the first time.

  1. When Data 360 is provisioned to an existing org
    1. When Data 360 is added to an existing org, a welcome email is not sent. The Data 360 application is added to your org along with the required permission sets needed to access and setup Data 360. Follow the below links for information on assigning permission sets and setting up Data 360 for the first time in your org.

      2. Help Documentation on set up for Data 360. Ensure you review all steps and follow the user permission assignments and steps to provision your Data 360 Instance:

  2. When Data 360 is provisioned to a new org
    1. Data 360 can be added alongside a new Salesforce org. When this occurs, there is an admin user that is associated with this org. The admin user would receive an email with a link to log-in and set up a new password. Once you have access to the org, you can then follow the above steps to set up Data 360 for the first time.
      1. If the admin user did not receive the email to the new org, please create a case with Salesforce Support.
      2. If it is unknown who received the email or who the main admin account user is, please reach out to your Account Executive.  
      3. If the user needs to be changed for any reason and you have never been able to access the org, please reach out to your Account Executive as a new org ID would need to be provisioned.  
  3. Data 360 is provisioned to a different org than expected
    1. If you need Data 360 moved to a different org, please reach out to your Account Executive with the correct org ID information and they can help with this change request.
