Partner Program FAQ: Provisional Partner Status (Consulting)

Audience: Consulting Partners

Partners who are accepted into the Consulting Partner Program on a provisional basis, Provisional Partners, must satisfy the minimum program requirements to complete registration into the program. Learn more here.

Minimum Program Requirements

To become a Consulting Partner, you meet one of the following options:

• Option 1: 2 Certifications + 1 Stage 2 Lead

• Option 2: 3 Stage 2 Leads

• Option 3: 2 Certifications + 2 Qualified Projects

Definitions:

• Certification Eligibility:  Certifications must be accepted by Salesforce and the status must either be either "Active", "Current", or "Maintenance Due". All learners are counted towards the Partner Summary account linked in their Trailhead account.

• Stage 2 Lead Eligibility:  The lead must be converted into Stage 2 Date in the current or previous fiscal year.

• Qualified Project Eligibility:  The project End Date must be in the current or previous fiscal year.  The project must also have a validated Customer Org ID or non-core ID equivalent.

Once the minimum program requirements are met, the Provisional Partner will be admitted into the Program on a non-provisional basis and will be assigned to the “Select” tier of the Consulting Partner Program.  The advancement from a Provisional to a Select tier partner can take up to a week to process.  For questions regarding the minimum requirements, visit this FY27 Consulting Program Minimum Requirements FAQ.  If you still haven't advanced after 7 days from meeting requirements, please open a case in the Partner Community.
