Tasks and Log a Calls do not show up on Case Feed

Beschreibung

A user may have noticed that when he creates a Task or logs a call on a Case record, it doesn't appear on the Case Feed. But if you go to the Activity Related List of the record, you can see the Task was created.

The Case Chatter Feed just shows up blank and is not displaying anything.

 
Lösung

It is possible that the setting Enable Case Feed Actions and Feed Items is not turned on in the organization.

To resolve this, you must reapply the Chatter Feed component on the Case layout and enable the setting Enable Case Feed Actions and Feed Items.
 

Turn on the setting Enable Case Feed Actions and Feed Items:

 

  1. From Setup, enter Support Settings in the Quick Find box, then select Support Settings.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Select Enable Case Feed Actions and Feed Items.
  4. Click Save.
 

Enabling only the said feature will not work at times. If that happens, try to readd the Chatter component on the Case layout then enable the feature once again. It should resolve the issue.
