Create a Task Field Set for Logging Calls in Salesforce Maps

Create a Task field set that can be used for Salesforce Map's Log a Call option. Please note that you do not have to configure anything for this new functionality. If you do not specify any options in the Advanced Settings, the resulting pop up will simply show the Subject and Comments fields. 

Solución

Creating a Task Field Set

  1. Navigate to Setup | Object Manager | Tasks | Field Sets.

  1. Select New to create a new Field Set.
  2. Enter Field Set Label and Field Set Name
  3. Click Save.
  4. Add some fields to the Field Set.
  5. Select Save to finish. 
 

Configuring the Advanced Settings

  1. Navigate to Setup | Installed Packages | Configure for the Salesforce Maps package. 
  2. Select Advanced.
  3. For option Which Task fieldset should we use for "Log a call", select the Field Set you created earlier in the document.

Note:- Now when you select Log a Call from the Actions button, you should see the options from that new Field Set.
