Error 'Invalid property in component' on Lightning Page Change Set Deployment

Date de publication: May 12, 2026
Description

When deploying a Lightning page through a Change Set in Salesforce, administrators may encounter the following error:
Invalid property [enableActionsConfiguration] in component [force:highlightsPanel]
This error occurs because the Highlights Panel component in the Change Set contains a property that is not recognized or supported in the target org. The most common cause is a version mismatch between the source org and the target org — the source org may be on a newer release version that includes the enableActionsConfiguration property, while the target org is on an older version that does not recognize it.

Resolution Options

There are two approaches to resolve this Change Set deployment error, depending on whether you can modify the Change Set contents.

Option 1: Remove the Highlights Panel from the Change Set

If the Highlights Panel component is not critical to the deployment, remove it from the Change Set and redeploy. This allows the rest of the Lightning page to deploy successfully without the version-incompatible component.

Option 2: Align Source and Target Org Release Versions

If removing the Highlights Panel is not an option, ensure that the source org and the target org are on the same Salesforce release version. A version mismatch causes components from the newer org to be unrecognized in the older org.
