Why are Filter By Owner Options Locked in Salesforce Maps?

This article explains why the "My Team's," "My Territories," and "My Territory Team Accounts" filter options are greyed out when building a marker layer, and how to unlock them.

Unlocking Filter by Owner Options

1. From Setup, enter Installed Packages in the Quick Find box and select Installed Packages.
2. Select Configure next to Salesforce Maps.
3. Select Base Objects.
4. Select Edit Existing and choose the corresponding base object.
5. Scroll down to Filter Options (Scope) and select both checkboxes:
   • My Territories' Accounts
   • My Territory Team Accounts
6. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Note: The Filter Options (Scope) option is only available to select for Accounts and Opportunities if territory management is enabled for your organization.
