Salesforce Lightning Experience Path Component Field Names Display on Multiple Lines (Word Wrap)

To resolve the word wrap issue in the Salesforce Lightning Experience Path component, change the user's Display Density setting to "Comfy."

Steps to Change Display Density Settings in Lightning Experience

1. Log in to Salesforce and navigate to any record in Lightning Experience (LEX).
2. Click your Avatar/Profile Photo in the upper right corner.
3. Under Display Density, select "Comfy".
4. When the prompt appears — "To change your density, we need to refresh the page. Any unsaved work is lost." — click "Refresh Now" to apply the change.

Note

• "Comfy" density causes field labels to appear above field values, which can lead to word wrap in the Path component.
• "Compact" density causes field labels to appear to the left of field values on a single line, resolving the word wrap issue.
