Date/Time fields convert to UTC Time Zone when brought in using a Salesforce Data Entry Event

When a record is injected into a Salesforce Data Entry Event, any Date/Time fields will have their Time Zones converted to UTC automatically when the value is written to the Journey's Data Extension.

Ex: A Contact's Date/Time field is set for 01/01/2020 5:00:00PM Eastern Time in Salesforce. When this Contact is injected into a Journey using the Journey Builder Integration, this Time Zone is converted to UTC and is written to the Journey's Data Extension as 01/01/2020 9:00:00PM

This can cause confusion when setting up things personalization, AMPScript functions, and decision splits.
Решение

To use this data in Personalization in the original time zone, the value will need to be modified by something such as AMPscript Date and Time Formatting.
