Using custom formula fields with person accounts

In general, custom formula fields from contacts aren’t available to use within person account formulas. For example, the following custom formula fields can’t be referenced through a person account:

  • An image related to a contact
  • An address from a contact
  • Other nested contact formula field references
  • Hyperlink with spanning across Contact’s related object. Example: HYPERLINK(Contact_r.AccountName, “Link”, “_blank”)

 

Ratkaisu

Avoid nested contact formula field references within person account formulas. Structure formulas so they reference only person account fields directly, not embedded Contact object formula fields.
