My Domain is a Salesforce feature that allows organizations to use a custom subdomain (for example, https://yourcompany.my.salesforce.com) as their Salesforce org URL instead of a generic instance URL. My Domain is required for many Salesforce features, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Lightning components, and enhanced security policies. If users are unable to log in to Sales or Service after My Domain deployment, follow these troubleshooting steps in order:
Verify that the required Salesforce domains are allowed in your organization's network. Ask your network administrator to check that all required Salesforce domains are registered on your organization's allowlist. For the full list of required domains, see Allow the Required Domains.
If you access Salesforce via VPN, disconnect the VPN to determine whether the VPN is causing the login issue.
Verify whether login from https://login.salesforce.com is blocked by your My Domain login policy:
From Setup, enter My Domain in the Quick Find box, then select My Domain.
In the Policies section, check whether Prevent login from https://login.salesforce.com is selected. If it is selected, users cannot log in from https://login.salesforce.com.
If this setting is enabled, inform users to log in using their My Domain URL: https://<subdomain>.my.salesforce.com.

If your organization cannot redirect users from the old instance URL to the new My Domain URL, verify your redirect policy by following these steps:
From Setup, enter My Domain in the Quick Find box, then select My Domain.
In the Policies section, check the current redirect setting. If Don't redirect (Recommended) is enabled, redirects from the old URL will not work.
Change the setting to Redirect to the same page within the domain or Redirect with a warning to the same page within the domain to enable redirects.

My Domain was automatically deployed by Salesforce in the Winter '22 release for all orgs that did not yet have a My Domain configured. This was part of a release update to ensure all orgs benefit from My Domain security and feature improvements.

If Prevent login from https://login.salesforce.com is enabled in your org's My Domain login policy, users must log in from your configured My Domain URL (for example, https://sample.my.salesforce.com) instead of the standard login page.
