Commerce Holiday Season Moratorium and Load Testing Policy

While the change moratorium is in place during the aforementioned dates, we reserve the right to deploy emergency break-fix releases as needed. In addition, the moratorium may prevent internal teams from completing certain requested activities that they usually do when not in moratorium. Therefore, customers are encouraged to adopt/follow the Commerce platform's change moratorium during the aforementioned timeframe to minimize self-inflicted risk. 

Please also note the policy below for conducting load testing against Commerce infrastructure/services.

1. For permanent load test realms and non live realms, we/Salesforce WILL NOT permit load testing from 00:01 UTC on Monday, November 24th, 2025 to 23:59 UTC on Friday, December 5th, 2025. No exceptions. 
2. For short-term loaner realms (non-GMV PODs), we will permit load testing for customers with a loaner realm based on availability. For more information, please contact your Account Executive (AE) or Customer Success Manager (CSM).
3. New customer launches and go-lives will not be prohibited, this includes load tests prior go-live. We expect customers to follow our best practices to notify Commerce Support as outlined in Load test notification for B2C Commerce.
4. We reserve the right to intervene any ongoing load tests that present a performance impact to tenants on the same POD during this critical time of the year.
