Error “Row with duplicate Name at index” in Maps

Learn How to troubleshoot "Row with duplicate Name at index" error in Maps.
Resolution
When accessing Salesforce Maps, sometimes you may notice an error like the one below:

Row with duplicate Name at index: 1
An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (maps)

This error usually occurs when the custom settings for the Maps contain duplicate entries.
Please follow the below steps to fix the error :
  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Custom Settings, and then select Custom Settings.
  2. Locate the Map Settings in the Custom Settings.
  3. Click on the ‘Manage’ action located next to the Map Setting.
  4. Search for Duplicate entries in the list and delete them (if any).

Once you are done with the steps mentioned above reopen the Salesforce Maps app and the error will go away.
