This article explains how to surface a Salesforce account hierarchy list in a Quip document using a formula field and a Salesforce report with a dynamic filter.
Salesforce reports and the Quip Report Live App's dynamic filter don't natively support multi-level account hierarchy grouping. To work around this, you can create a formula field that captures each account's ultimate parent account, then use that field to filter a Salesforce report added to a Quip document.
Note: This process will not show the hierarchy of child accounts, but will show the hierarchy as related to the ultimate parent account.
