Create a Chatter Group for Einstein Activity Capture Sharing

Create a Chatter group to open up THE sharing of emails to a designated group. This allows users to share their emails with group members of private and unlisted Chatter groups. 

Note: Email and events appear in the Activity Timeline of related records, not in Chatter group feeds.

1. Click the App Launcher
2. Search for Groups and select it
3. Create a Group by clicking the New button. Fill out the fields as follows:
   1. Enter the Name of your Group.
   2. Set the Access type of your group to Private.
   3. Select the Enable email and event sharing checkbox.
   4. Click Save & Next.
4. Click Next to see the Manage Members page. 
   1. Search for each user that you want to include in your group, to add them
   2. Click Done when all members are added 
5. The Chatter page for the new group opens. A message at the top of the page shows that this Group is Private as well as Sharing emails with the group.
6. Now, you must edit your sharing permissions for Einstein Activity Capture, to select the group you created:
   1. Click your avatar at the top-right corner.
   2. Select Settings, then Email.
   3. Select Einstein activity capture.
   4. Select Sharing Settings.
   5. On Sharing Settings, click the Change button to modify your permissions.
   6. To open up sharing to your Emails, select Share with My Chatter Groups.
   7. A list appears to show you the available Chatter groups to choose from. Find your group and select it. 
   8. Click Save.

Group members who use Einstein Activity Capture can now share their emails with all group members. For more information on the available sharing settings to choose from, review Set Your Sharing Setting for Einstein Activity Capture.
