How can I request a Marketing Cloud account?

    • If you are an ISV and have a use case for building a Marketing Cloud application for AgentExchange, you can request your account via a case.
    • Please note the following pre-requisite to get a Marketing Cloud account: You must have an active Marketing Cloud Opportunity related to your account in Salesforce. Contact your Partner Account Manager to verify that you have an active Marketing Cloud opportunity.
      • Request a Marketing Cloud account by submitting a case.
        • If you do not yet have an org ID, please populate the org ID field with the following org ID: 00D0000000000MC.
        • For the "Subtopic" select "Marketing Cloud/Commerce Cloud".
        • In the "Description", you will state that you're a Marketing Cloud ISV who is developing an app for AgentExchange, and that you're working with [Name of PAM] or [Name of SDR].

I have technical questions for Marketing Cloud. Who can I contact?

How can I provision my Marketing Cloud integration to customers?

    • After you’ve passed the AgentExchange Security Review, and if you created a web app using an installed package with OAuth 2.0 (recommended), you can request an install URL to be created. Here are the steps:
      • Submit a case via the App or Service Listing queue in Partner Community to request the install URL. Please use “Partner Program & Benefits” and “AgentExchange Partner Program” as Case Reason and General Application Area respectively.
        • The case needs to include/set up the following details:
          • Confirmation from you that your installed package is ready for publishing.
            • After the install URL is created it will lock the settings in the your Installed Package, and you won’t be able to edit them. You must make sure endpoints, components, and other details are in place.
          • Provide the Package ID for your Installed Package.
          • Provide the MID for the Marketing Cloud account that contains your Installed Package.
          • Enable account login access in your Marketing Cloud account.

How can I release a new version of my integration in AgentExchange?

    • Submit a case via the App or Service Listing queue in Partner Community to request an install URL for a new version of your installed package. Note: you must already have a published integration in AgentExchange that passed the AgentExchange Security Review. If you need to change permissions, your integration will need to go through the AgentExchange Security Review again.
      • Include the following details in your case:
        • Confirmation that your installed package is ready for publishing.
          • After the install URL is created it will lock the settings in your installed package, and you won’t be able to edit them. You must make sure endpoints, components, and other details are in place.
        • Provide the Package ID for the existing Installed Package and the new installed package.
        • Provide the MID for the Marketing Cloud account that contains the existing and new Installed Packages.
        • Enable account login access in your Marketing Cloud account.

I need to change my published installed package—how can I do this?

    • If you are only removing permissions or otherwise adding small components/features, you may create a new Install URL case as seen above. The reviewer will determine if there has been a significant enough code base alteration to require a new Security Review.
    • If you need to change or add permissions, your integration will need to go through the AgentExchange Security Review again. If the change doesn't involve permissions (example: changing names, urls, etc...) you would submit a case via this queue in Partner Community to request the update. Here are the steps:
      • Submit a case via the App or Service Listing queue in Partner Community to request a change to your published Installed Package.
          • NOTE: Once an installed package is published, the package is locked for editing. Unlike apps built on the Force.com platform, Marketing Cloud Packages cannot be incrementally updated in a traditional sense.
        • Provide the following information in the case details:
          • Current Installed Package Information:
            • Package Name:
            • Package ID:
            • Created on MID:
            • Install URL:
          • Requested Change to Installed Package:
            • We’d like to change...
            • Package Name:
            • Package ID:
            • Created on MID:
