Unable to Access Setup in Marketing Cloud Account - Enterprise 2.0

The most common reason for not being able to access Marketing Cloud Setup is due to the user's assigned User Roles and Permissions.
 

Marketing Cloud User Roles and Permissions


Access to Setup requires the Marketing Cloud Admin Role. In some cases, limited access may be present for the Marketing Cloud Security Admin role. For more information please review Permissions for Marketing Cloud Setup.

To set or modify permissions, you will need a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator. Support can provide assistance but cannot perform any changes to an account, such as user access or creating new users.

Please Note: Marketing Cloud adheres to the Principle of Least Privilege. If a user is assigned a role that grants access and another that denies, then the access will be denied. For more information please reference the following Trailhead material:

    If you are not already assigned the appropriate role, or do not have access to Marketing Cloud Setup area, your user will need to be provisioned by your Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator.

     
    • Reach out to another Admin within your tenant who has the necessary access. 
     

    If you do not have a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator

     

    • For the quickest time to resolve, please reach out to your account team and ask them to initiate the internal process for re-sending the Welcome Email. They will then need to validate the request per security protocol and then submit an internal ticket to our provisioning team. 
     
    • If you are unable to achieve the above, submit a ticket through the Help & Training Portal and a member of the Support Team will assist you.
