Disable Create Task from Email in Email-to-Case Settings

When Email-to-Case is configured in Salesforce, incoming emails automatically create Tasks on the associated Case by default. This article explains how to disable this behavior in the Routing Address Task Settings.

Løsning

 

The Create Task from Email setting is found in the Email-to-Case Routing Address configuration in Setup. Disabling it stops Salesforce from automatically logging an activity Task for each inbound email.

 

  1. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of any page and click "Open Advanced Setup"
  2. On the left side of the page, in the Quick Find Box, type "email-to-case"
  3. Click Email-to-Case
  4. Scroll down to the bottom and click Edit next to your Routing Email Address
  5. Scroll down to Task Settings
  6. Uncheck the box next to Create Task from Email
  7. Click Save
