My B2C Commerce sandbox is slow, what can I do?

Things to remember

1. Please keep in mind that your sandbox is designed to test code, and not to load tests.
2. Keep the number of products and locales to a minimum. For example, if you're storing more than one thousand products in a sandbox, performance may be impacted. Ask yourself if what you have stored on your sandbox is really what's needed to be able to verify your code.

Things to check for a slow sandbox

1. Are there any jobs running?
2. How many products are on the instance?
3. How many product attributes are on the instance?
4. How many locales are enabled for a site (locales inflate index dramatically)?
5. How many users are on the instance at the time of slowness?
