Load test notification process for B2C Commerce

Please review B2C Commerce - Load Testing Checklist and provide the following information a week before any planned load tests:

• Who is performing the test
• When will the test take place (start date, end date and time zone) 
• How much traffic is expected
  • The maximum number of requests per hour
  • The maximum number of orders per hour

• The maximum number of requests per day
• The maximum number of orders per day
• IP addresses of load generators or data center sending the requests

Please note the following (only applicable to LIVE Production instances):

Additional Information:

1. Only Production instances are supported for load tests. The Development, Staging and sandbox instances should not be used for load testing.
2. Orders placed during the load test in Production will count towards Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) calculation so do not include checkout in the load test if you do not want to be charged.
3. When the site is Live, analytics are enabled for the site. If you plan to place test orders during the load test and delete the orders in Business Manager after the load test, please make sure to update the Order Number Sequence in BM (Administration >  Global Preferences > Sequence Numbers), so that there is no overlap with the test order numbers. Otherwise, this will cause issues with the order data in Reports and Dashboards. 
   Note: When the site is Live with analytics enabled, deleting the orders in Production Business Manager will not delete the orders in Reports and Dashboard. If you forget to update the Order Number Sequence during load tests when placing test orders and later run into issues with Order analytics data not generated correctly, then please reach out to Commerce Cloud Support.
4. Avoid doing load tests during peak business hours.
5. During the peak Holiday season, please check Commerce Cloud Holiday Season Moratorium and Load Testing Policy to see if there is a moratorium in effect. If there is, load testing may NOT be allowed.
