Open a Go Live Ticket for B2C Commerce

Data pubblicazione: Dec 18, 2025
Descrizione

Open a Go-Live ticket to ensure your B2C Commerce realm is appropriately configured for live traffic.

If Going Live For Subsequent Sites after the First Site has Gone Live:

After your first site has gone live as outlined below, you only need to confirm that a certificate is installed on the new site because the Go-Live process detailed below is not required for subsequent sites. Therefore, please ensure that an SSL certificate is installed per Install a SSL Certificate on B2C Commerce and optionally, the custom maintenance pages are configured. When prompted for a Support case number after following the steps in Mark a Site as Live in B2C Commerce, you can use the case number from your original go-live case or any case number you have.

Risoluzione

A Go-Live case must be opened with Support at least 5 business days prior to launch.

The Go-Live checklist is a comprehensive checklist of readiness items that need to be completed before you launch on the B2C Commerce platform. It is intended only for each realm's first site launch. This document should be reviewed by both you and Commerce Cloud Support prior to launch and all items need to be tracked in the project plan to ensure they are completed.

Please contact Commerce Cloud Support if you have questions or comments about this checklist.

Once the checklist is completed and you are ready to launch a site on Production for the first time, you must open a Support case with Commerce Cloud B2C Support, who are then responsible for changing the site's status from Preview to Online (Protected). Commerce Cloud B2C Support does this only for the first site launched on Production. For subsequent sites, you can change the site's status yourself. Once the status has been updated to Online (Protected), you can then change the status to Live when you are ready.

Note:

  • The site status can only be changed back to Online (Protected) or Maintenance after it has been set to Online. It cannot be set back to Preview mode.
  • Any load testing must be done before the first site on the realm is still in Preview mode before it is marked LiveOtherwise, test orders will count towards GMV.  If you wish to do load testing on a Live site, consider load test scenarios that do not include the submission of orders.
  • The site's status controls whether the storefront is available or disabled.

Before Launching Your First Site:

1. Ensure you have installed a SSL certificate for your site as outlined in Install a SSL Certificate on B2C Commerce.
2. Once the site is marked Live, the Analytics will be enabled automatically.
3. Go to Reports & Dashboards and follow the steps in Change the Dashboard Realm Currency within 60 days of the site going live.
4. To install custom maintenance pages, review How to create and upload a Maintenance Page for B2C Commerce sites.
5. In order to mark the first site 'live', please contact Commerce Cloud Support.

Set the Time Zone for your site:

1. Go to the General tab under Administration | Sites | Manage Sites | [site].
2. Select the site time zone you want. If the desired time zone is not listed, select the closest one.

Set the Time Zone for your site in Reports & Dashboards:
As of February 20, 2023, B2C Commerce currency and time zone settings can only be updated within the first 60 days of your go-live date. At the end of this 60-day period, the option to change currency and time zone settings will no longer be available in your Reports & Dashboard instance. More information can be seen in B2C Commerce Currency and Timezone Settings.
