Generate Routes for all users assigned to the Maps Advanced Visit Plan

This article answers the question of how to generate routes in bulk for every user assigned to a Salesforce Maps Advanced Visit Plan, rather than generating routes one user at a time.

Prerequisites

• Users are assigned to the Maps Advanced Visit Plan.
• All assigned users have been assigned the SF Maps Advanced permission set.
• All assigned users have been assigned the Salesforce Maps Advanced permission set license.
• All assigned users have set their Starting and Ending locations, as well as their Working Hours: Maps Advanced User Setup

Steps to Generate Routes for All Users

1. From the App Launcher, navigate to the Maps Advanced Visit Plans tab.
2. Select the three vertical dots to the right of the Visit Plan and click Plan Visits to begin the route generation process.
3. Select a date within the Visit Plan's start and end dates from which you would like the route generation to begin, then click Plan.
4. If the process kicked off successfully, you will see a message stating "Mass Optimization Successfully Submitted".
