Create and configure Maps Advanced Visit Plan

This resolution explains how to create a new Salesforce Maps Advanced Visit Plan, which lets Administrators, Managers, or Operations users set specific inputs, outputs, and rules for automatic route generation.

Prerequisites

• An OAuth user has been set.

• The user creating or editing a Visit Plan must have the Maps Admin and SF Maps Advanced permission sets assigned.

Steps to Create a New Visit Plan

1. From the App Launcher, navigate to the Maps Advanced Visit Plans tab.

2. Click the + New Visit Plan button.

3. From the Name Your Plan section, enter a value for Visit Plan Name and Description (optional).

4. Click Next and set up the other tabs. See the Additional Resources section below for details on each tab.
