Set Up Calendars in Maps Advanced Visit Plan

Description
The Set Up Calendars section of the Maps Advanced Visit Plan allows you to select the object that will be output as a visit during route optimization.

Note:
  • If using standard Salesforce Events, no action is needed.
  • If you are using a custom Output Object, ensure you have completed the necessary configuration steps outlined here: How to Configure a Custom Output Object

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. On the Maps Advanced Visit Plan configuration page, navigate to Set Up Calendars.
  2. Indicate which object to use as an Output Object. You may only select one Output Object per Visit Plan.
    1. i.e. If you would like the Visit Plan to output standard Event records, select Event.
    2. i.e. If you set up a custom Output Object and would like the Visit Plan to output those records, select the custom Output Object.
  3. Click Next to save.
