In Salesforce, Rollup Summary fields on master-detail related objects aggregate child record data — such as counts, sums, minimums, or maximums — into a parent record. Users may find that one or more records are showing incorrect or outdated values in their Rollup Summary fields, even though the underlying child records appear correct.
To correct incorrect Rollup Summary field values on individual records, you can force a mass recalculation directly from the field definition in Setup. This process triggers Salesforce to recompute the field values across all affected records.
This allows all your records to have correctly calculated information.
You can then edit the Roll-Up Summary and return it to its previous setting.
If you’re still having issues after forcing a mass recalculation on the field, contact Salesforce Support for further assistance.
