Beskrivelse

Salesforce Industries Automatic Upgrades Enforced Spring ’24 Release

With the Spring ’24 major release, the Insurance, Communications, Media, Energy, and OmniStudio managed packages are included in the automatic upgrade process. This process aligns with the Salesforce seasonal release cycle, where new features, critical security updates, and available enhancements are delivered three times a year (Summer, Winter, and Spring). With automatic upgrades, you also get early access to upcoming releases in your sandbox preview environment. The upgrade dates for sandboxes and production are based on the Salesforce release calendar.

Automatic upgrades keep your sandboxes and production environments current with the latest features, let you test customizations and new features in your sandboxes, and provide regular patch updates with performance, stability, and security improvements.

If you’re not part of automatic upgrades for these packages, be sure to manually upgrade to the latest Salesforce release in production. If you’re looking for installation links for previous versions, contact Salesforce Customer Support for help.

Salesforce strongly recommends that you prepare for this process by taking these steps.

Maintenance Releases

Salesforce delivers regular maintenance releases to all customers. The frequency of the maintenance releases varies depending on the severity of issues found. Case Logging Instructions

Salesforce has adjusted our case routing process for this program to ensure prompt response to all cases logged by customers. Additionally, Salesforce has created a case template for customers to complete and attach to the case to ensure we have all of the necessary information to quickly resolve the issue.
