Ratkaisu

End users without the system profile permission "Modify All Data" may receive the above error when trying to create a new record that's related to a Knowledge Article if the article is not in draft publication status.

It's only possible to edit a Knowledge article that is in draft status.

When the master-detail field's Sharing Setting is set to Read/Write the application checks to see if the user can edit the related Knowledge Article. If the Article is not in draft status attempting to associate a knowledge article to the new record is expected to result in the insufficient access rights error.

Setting the Master-Detail field to Knowledge Sharing Setting to Read Only removes the access check to edit the related article and allows end users to associate new records to knowledge articles that are not in draft status.
