Salesforce Outlook Integration Prompts For Permission to Open a Page in a New Tab Despite Popup Blocker Being Disabled

게시 일자: Jul 17, 2026
상세 설명

When using the Salesforce Outlook Integration side panel, a permission popup may appear asking the user to confirm opening a page in a new tab. This occurs even when the browser's popup blocker has already been disabled, and is specific to the behavior of the Outlook Integration add-in.
The popup message displays as: "Open this page? Because of your browser settings, we need your permission to open... in a new tab. To prevent this message from displaying in the future, disable your browser's popup blocker."
Note: The popup may still appear even after disabling the browser's popup blocker.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

  1. Open an email in Outlook.
  2. Open the Salesforce VIEW side panel.
  3. Click on any of the matching records.
  4. Click on the up arrow icon to open the record in Salesforce.
