Customer 360 Data Manager Retirement

Salesforce retired Customer 360 Data Manager, Customer 360 Data Manager - Test, and Salesforce Connect for Customer 360 Data Manager. Subscription to this free service ended on June 30, 2022.

These products were being retired to accelerate the development of advanced identity resolution features, which are now available as part of the Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP) products.

What does this change mean for me? 

These products were no longer available for sale to new customers as of Feb 1, 2021, and were not renewable as of June 1, 2021.

What action can I take? 

If you have questions, contact your Account Executive about your Customer 360 Data Manager, Customer 360 Data Manager - Test, and Salesforce Connect for Customer 360 Data Manager subscription. 

What happens if I don’t take action?

On June 30, 2022, there wasn't access to the Customer 360 Data Manager, Customer 360 Data Manager - Test, and Salesforce Connect for Customer 360 Data Manager subscription. 

How do I identify affected users? 

The ‘Customer 360 Data Manager’ and ‘Customer 360 Data Manager - Test’ products were provisioned in separate Salesforce tenants (“Orgs”) that do not contain any other Salesforce products. All users in those separate orgs will lose access to these products. 

The ‘Salesforce Connect for Customer 360 Data Manager’ product was enabled in customer orgs where Admin users configured the Data Federation Service used to enable multi-org queries dependent upon the ‘Global Party ID’ created by the Customer 360 Data Manager products. Admin users can identify impacted users by the permission set assigned to access the Data Federation Service. 

No other users in any Salesforce orgs without these products are affected by this announcement.
