Data 360: Errors during CRM Connector Setup: "Page not found, The requested page was not found or you are not authorized to view this page." or "Your Salesforce org is already connected to Data Cloud."

Set Up a Salesforce Connection in Data Cloud outlines the steps to connect a separate Salesforce org to your Data Cloud org. When completing these steps, you may receive either of the following errors:

"Page not found, The requested page was not found or you are not authorized to view this page."

"Your Salesforce org is already connected to Data Cloud."
Løsning

As noted in Set Up a Salesforce Connection in Data 360, "On the My Domain page in Setup, select Don’t redirect for Instanced URL in the redirections section." 

Follow the below steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Log in to the Salesforce org you are attempting to connect to Data 360.
  2. Navigate to Setup>Company Settings>My Domain>Redirections.
  3. For the "Instanced URL" field, make sure that you select "Don't redirect (recommended)".

Note: Please update this setting for both the Source Org where Data 360 is provisioned and the Org which you are trying to connect.

Scenario:

When Org1 needs to be connected to Org2 as a CRM connection under the Data 360 Setup, the domain settings must be correctly configured in both Org1 and Org2 to"Don't redirect (recommended)". If the domain settings are only configured in Org2 but not in Org1, users will encounter the error. Specifically, upon entering the credentials while creating a Salesforce connection, users will be redirected to Org1 and shown the error message: "Your Salesforce org is already connected to Data 360. "
