Impact of "Session Security Level Required at Login" set to "High Assurance" on asynchronous processing

Veröffentlichungsdatum: Oct 13, 2022
Beschreibung
If a user has Session Security “Level Required at Login” is set to “High Assurance” it prevents the use of asynchronous processing

The “High Assurance” setting in the Profile refers to the requirement configured in org's Setup > Session Settings > Session Security Levels which may have “Multi-Factor Authentication” or other available options set to High Assurance. These "High Assurance" session settings are intended for synchronous and UI processing and do not support asynchronous processing such as Apex future methods, callouts, and getContentAsPDF().
Lösung
If Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is needed use  “Multi-Factor Authentication for User Interface Logins”  permission in the user’s profile or permission set instead of “High Assurance” set under Profile’s "Session Security Level Required at Login".  In order for this workaround to work, ensure that the "Session Security Level Required at Login" is set to None.
