Admin Action Log in Quip

The Admin Action Log provides a comprehensive record of Admin actions. To view the Admin Action Log navigate to the Admin Console and then click the Admin Action Log tab.

The log show the time and date or the admin action, the name of the admin that made the change, the type of action and what the action was. To export this data to a CSV click Export to CSV in the top right.

The Admin Action Log makes it easy for companies with multiple Admins to work seamlessly as a team and know who took which actions and when. This is also useful for security and compliance teams to ensure admins aren't taking actions (e.g. changing external sharing or reenabling users) that could affect safety or security.
