Error: "DML Currently Not Allowed" in OmniScript Designer

Description

The "DML currently not allowed" error can occur when OmniScript Designer attempts to load a required document file that is missing. Restoring the missing document resolves the issue.

This behavior may also impact the loading of Integration Procedures.

Résolution

Prerequisite:
Switch to Salesforce Classic before performing the steps below.

Note: In some orgs, opening Documents in Classic view may display an error. If this occurs, manually navigate to the Documents page by replacing the URL path after the org domain with: /015/o

Example:
https://demoorg-1677510948279--omnilatest.sandbox.my.salesforce.com/015/o

Steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Navigate to Documents.
  2. In the Document Folders section, select "Vlocity Document Uploads" from the dropdown list.
  3. Click New Document.
  4. Set both Name and Unique Name to:
    VlocityLogoDocumentUploads
  5. Attach the file provided in this article and click Save.

After the document is recreated, the OmniScript Designer should load without the error.
