Most carriers are known to filter some Salesforce Digital Engagement Messaging using the 10-digit United States long, short, and toll-free codes.
What’s changing?
Starting with a policy update the week of September 28, AT&T announced that effective immediately, it is more strictly enforcing text messaging guidelines and practices for all messages sent to AT&T subscribers.
AT&T is increasing its messaging blocks to include political messaging and associated telephone numbers sending messages to AT&T subscribers. These guidelines apply to all messaging channels, including the 10-digit United States long, short, and toll-free codes.
Other carriers have followed this guideline and are now more strict on messages with embedded links.
